Have you ever been driving behind someone and thought "why is this idiot driving so slow?" Then a lane opens up so you are able to pass them and you discover that they are conviently chatting it up on their cell phone! If you are like me you probably would be pissed about this, well Ford is about to give us another reason to be mad at stupid drivers. The Ford Motor company will soon offer an in-dash computer with high-speed internet and a battery-powered ink-jet printer on its F150

pick-up trucks and commerical vans. The in-dash computer is a 6.5 in touch-screen powered by Microsoft Windows CE and Windows Autos. It connects to the internet through Sprint's cellular Broadband and is Bluetooth enabled. The Working Solutions Package will be available in the 2009 model trucks and vans this summer. I know this is meant for business use and at first glance it seems like a really good idea but lets think about this for a second... How many fools can we expect to purchase these vehicles for their own personal use and ride around causing accidents because their busy trying to friend request someone on Myspace?? Think this one over Ford...Seriously

Robert DeNiro and 50 Cent did a double cover issue for Vibe's March issue. At first glance I thought wow this is a pretty odd couple but the more I thought about it, They have more in common than you may think. Both of these men have made a living portraying gangsters. DeNiro played a big part of rap culture ever since his portrayal of Vito in The Godfather trilogy. This summer DeNiro, 50 and Al Pacino will all star in Righteous Kill, a $60 million film, which is in short, about gangster cops. This should be interesting. I guess. I think the whole ganster movie this is getting kind of lame. I mean don't get me wrong, I love my fair share of shoot em up movies but how many times can they recreate the same idea over and over. But since America loves violence, I predict this film will be a blockbuster.

Ok I'm a not a big sports fan, I'm not even a big basketball fan but I loooove The Lakers! And today my team finally got rid of this worthless piece of a player named Kwame Brown. If you think that's harsh of me to say then let me give you some stats. Kwame Brown is earning $9.1 million dollars for the rest of this season and he averages a measly 5.7 a game. FIVE POINTS A GAME! I will even give him the benefit and round up to 6... SIX POINTS A GAME, for $9 mil! Get the f*ck outta here!! This fool even got booood at a home game in the Staples Center. Hey what can I say LA is a tough crowd. Anyways The Lakers finally traded his sorry a$$ for 7 footer Paul Gasol who averages 18.8 points and 8.6 rebounds. So finally the Lakers fans can breathe a little easier. At least for the moment. I'm sure they will be throwing plenty of "Good Riddens Kwame" parties this weekend! ENJOY!

Three lawmakers want to make it illegal for restaurants in Mississippi to serve obese customers.

House Bill No. 282 which will be introduced in this month states:

"Any food establishment to which this section applies shall not be allowed to serve food to any person who is obese, based on criteria prescribed by the State Department of Health after consultation with the Mississippi Council on Obesity Prevention and Management established under Section 41-101-1 or its successor. The State Department of Health shall prepare written materials that describe and explain the criteria for determining whether a person is obese, and shall provide those materials to all food establishments to which this section applies. A food establishment shall be entitled to rely on the criteria for obesity in those written materials when determining whether or not it is allowed to serve food to any person."

The proposal is going to allow health inspectors to take away permits from restaurants who repeatedly serve obese customers. The bill is not expected to gain much support. Now what kind of nonsense is this?? I guess they're trying to put a limit on food like alcohol.

Can you imagine that: "I'm sorry sir/mam I cannot serve you another cheeseburger, you are obese according to the written law and you have reached the state limit"

Prediction if this becomes a law by some miraculous event, I'm guessing the crime rate will shoot up in Mississippi!!

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney accused rival John McCain of adopting to Nixon- like tendencies. His charges stem from McCain's claims that Romney has a timetable set up for the withdrawal of troops in Iraq. In other words he is accusing Ronmey of siding with the democrats ideas and views of the war. McCain made this charge during the Florida primary before Romney could rebut and went on to win the state. Romney claimed that this kind of campaigning "was reminiscent of the Nixon era"..Oooh. Well of course when infamous names such as Nixon get thrown into the mix people start talking.... Former House speaker Dennis Hastert of Illinois chimed in reminding folks of the Keating Five savings-and-loan scandal that McCain and four other senators were involved in. Tsk Tsk.

Romney said that his references to Nixon were not attacks on McCain's integrity, "I think he's a man of character" But he added, "I think he took a sharp detour off the Straight-Talk Express" (which is the name of McCain's tour bus)...Ha! Republicans are so corny.

The story of the Amber Room, dubbed the "8th Wonder of the World", has been a real life unsolved mystery filled with thievery and treasure hunting. The fairy tale room was crafted almost entirely of 6 tons of glowing translucent amber. It was a gift from the Prussian King Frederic the First to Russian Czar Peter the Great in 1716. But during World War II Hitler instructed Nazis to loot the treasured room and bring it back to Germany where it belonged. As the tide of the war changed and Germans worried about the safety of the room and supposedly packed it up and hid it. But no one really knows what actually happened to it. Some say it was lost during the bombing other say it was hidden. It has been a mystery that has plagued Russians for years. Treasure hunters have pursued countless theories about the whereabouts of the room but it has NEVER BEEN FOUND. In 1999 the reconstruction of this room began in Russian and after about 4 years and $150 million dollars a replica room was finally constructed with a few original pieces and opened in 2003. After 300 years the mystery of the original Amber Room still lives on..

Ok i have to take a break from the gossip, fashion, tech etc. that I usually write about to Blog about something that is very important to me. This upcoming election has brought out everyone's true colors no pun intended. This is our opportunity as black people to rise! This is our chance. So rise! I'm so tired of reading about these racist people who claim that if I vote for Obama then I am just doing so because he is black! I am offended by this ignorant statement in its entirety. To suggest that I am only voting for Obama because he is black is an insult to Obama, my people and my own intelligence! It insinuates that there will never be a black candidate that is competent, qualified, intelligent, professional, skilled and experienced enough to vote for and the ONLY reason that I or any other black person would have to vote for him is based entirely on race. Don't get me wrong, I mean, race is reality but why can't I support Obama for more reasons than race! Why can't I believe in his promises of change. Why can't I be audacious enough to actually have hope for the future! He does... and i believe in him. I believe that he is capable and competent enough to take control of this country and will do a lot of things for us. The fact that he is black is an added incentive, a bit of chocolate syrup on this plain vanilla ice cream if u will!

I admire Hillary Clinton's intelligence and mastery of politics but she is an old politician, stuck in her old ways. I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion so if you are black and you have decided to vote for Clinton then that is your choice but consider this for a second. Everyone talks of the Clinton's great affinity for blacks but lets have a little bit of a reality check! What was really done specifically for black people during the Clinton administration. The answer NOTHING! How many black people were appointed to positions of power in the government during the Clinton administration? The answer is NONE! For years upon years the Democratic party with the Clintons included have taken the support of blacks for granted. Of course they want our support and money but as long as we stay in our place So if you vote for Clinton you would be better off voting Republican! At least the Republicans have appointed us into power, (i.e. Colin Powell and Condoleeza Rice) So RISE people. BECOME AWARE! READ! and most importantly VOTE! There is more to life than "bling"! Remember its has been less than 50 years since were were actually able to exercise suffrage! So do it! Ghandi said "Be the change you want to see in the world".

I thought this was really cool. It is a concept design by Michael Roller called the Yes, No Maybe Martini glasses. The asymmetrical shape of the glass gives the ordinary martini glass a bit of character and personality. But the best part is how the glasses can be positioned together. When two people flirt, one glass can lean into another to show the person next to them that they are interested. Barrack Obama's presidential campaign has picked up a very much desired endorsement of Sen. Edward Kennedy, Caroline Kennedy (Former Pres. Kennedy's daughter) and Rep. Patrick Kennedy (Sen. Edward's son).

Sen. Kennedy referred to Obama as "a new national leader who has given America a different kind of campaign--a campaign not just about himself, but about all of us." He spoke in Washington about the similarities between the works of his assasinated brothers John and Robert and the campaign promises of Obama. The senator remained on the sideline for months claiming he was friends with all three democratic candidates but then went on to say at the rally:

"Every time I've been asked over the past year who I would support in the Democratic primary, my answer has always been the same: I'll support the candidate who inspires me, who inspires all of us, who can lift our vision and summon our hopes and renew our belief that our country's best days are still to come," Kennedy said. "I've found that candidate. And I think you have, too."

Caroline Kennedy said that Obama "offers the same sense of hope and inspiration" as did her father. Rep. Kennedy offered his support also.

Black author Toni Morrison, who once labeled Bill Clinton as the "first black president" has now offered her endorsement of the Obama campaign.. Morrision said that she always has admired Hillary Clinton for her vast knowledge and mastery of politics but stated that Obama's "creative imagination which coupled with brilliance equals wisdom."

The Yuma County Attorney's Office has filed felony drug and weapons charges against Lil' Wayne.. His tour bus was stopped at a US Border Patrol checkpoint near Dateland, Ariz. He was traveling with 11 other people.

The Drug Enforcement Administration reported that the Border Patrol canine unit found nearly "4 ounces of marijuana, just over an ounce of cocaine, 41 grams of ecstasy and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia". Hmmmm NOT SURPRISING! Officials also found a .40 caliber pistol that is registered to Mr. Dwayne Carter (Lil' Wayne's legal name) Weezy's out on bail now. I guess we will see where this goes.

I think this is very exciting. The Princess and the Frog is an animated film that is currently in development by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The heroine of the movie is Tiana, played by Tony Award Winning, Anika Nona Rose (the third member in Dreamgirls). Tiana is Disney's first African American Princess which has already stirred up some controversy... It seems that Tiana was originally named "Maddy" and was made a chambermaid, which some perceived to be stereotypical and racist. Disney quickly responded and changed the character's name to Tiana, who will no longer be a chambermaid but a 19 year-old heroine. The title of the film also underwent a name change from The Frog Princess to The Princess and the Frog.

The film will be an American fairy tale musical set in New Orleans during the 1920s Jazz Age. Sounds exciting...I can't wait! It's about time Disney!

This is the Mamiya 1954. It is what is looks like, a pistol camera. The Mamiya was created in Japan in 1954 exclusively for police training purposes. It is an actual camera though and shoots half-size onto 35 mm film. Only 250 were ever created and now this one is on ebay for about $25,000!! OOook

The self-proclaimed (well Whitney included) King of R & B and Sisqo are on a new show on CMT called "Gone Country"! As if reality TV had not sunk to an all-time low by giving Flava-of-Love a third season... Those TV people are hard at work with this one...The gist of the show is as follows:

The "celebs" (and I use that word reluctantly) on the show will be challenged "musically and physically to adapt to a country music lifestyle, both on and off stage"...The winner will actually record and release a song.. *blank stare*

Well obviously some people's ignorance has caused them to forget...Get this:

USA Today's Marisol Bello reports that the Justice Department just announced that it's charging 18 year-old Justin Munsen with committing a hate crime in Alexandria, LA.. Back in September Munsen is accused of driving with a friend through a crowd of Jena Six marchers with two nooses hanging from the back of their pickup truck...Oh Reeeally!

Well US Attorney Donald W. Washington says in a statement, "This indictment accuses the defendant of a federal civil rights conspiracy violation and a federal hate crime."

This is ridiculous...I say the quicker the DOJ tightens the legal noose on the dumb and stupid the brighter day it will be for America as a whole..

I know this is probably something that only the ladies will care about but fellas this would actually make a really cool gift. Apple just released the 8 GB Nano in my favorite color: PINK!! Just in time for Valentine's Day I suppose...It costs the same as the other Nano's $199.

You know those cool looking digital picture frames that seem to catch my eye every time I'm in Best Buy...Yea well some of the Insignia frames are infected with a computer virus. When you plug the frame into the computer the virus can be transmitted. Insignia says that PC's with anti-virus software will not be affected just Windows PC's. The virus will not affect cameras or other devices plugged into the frame. Insignia released a statement saying the have "launched an investigation"...WAY TO GO Insignia!

Well looky looky...Guess who was spotted outside of Barney's in New York: That would be Chris Brown and Rihanna. She was seen about a week ago wearing his jacket coming out of LAX and now this...I'm sure the gossip columns are ALL OVER THIS ONE!

A study done by two nonprofit journalism organizations (Center for Public Integrity and Funds for Independence in Journalism) found that President Bush and his top officials issued hundreds of false statements about the national security threat from Iraq in the two years following the 2001 terrorist attacks.... That is 935 FALSE STATEMENTS to be exact!! OH Reeeally.. Well I didn't need a study to convince me that the Mr. Bush's pants were on fire but it is interesting to know how many times his nose has grown within the span of just TWO YEARS (2001-2003)!!

On the Golf Channel a few weeks ago, commentators Nick Faldo and Kelly Tilghman were commenting (supposedly light-heartedly) about the dominance of Tiger Woods and what other golfers should do about it..Faldo said; "To take Tiger on, maybe they should just gang up on him for a while." To which Tilghmam laughingly responded "{They should} Lynch him in a back alley"

And if that wasn't enough 'Golfweek' then ran this edition which led to the firing of their editor....Tilghman was suspended for two weeks....hmmmmm WHAT's REALLY GOOD??
